The Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps is an independent, all volunteer, 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1963. We are not supported by your tax dollars nor are we fiscally affiliated with the local fire departments.

We are primarily supported by your generous donations. We receive only a small grant from the Town of Bedford, and whenever possible, we receive partial insurance or Medicare reimbursements.

KBHVAC has responded to over 800 emergency medical 911calls in the past year - a number that increases annually. Our all volunteer membership responds directly from their workplace or from home to meet your emergency medical needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We are grateful for any donation you would like to make to our ambulance corps; without your generosity and support, we would not be able to continue to provide basic emergency medical service to the residents in our community.
