What Does The Flashing Green Light Mean?

Whenever you see a vehicle with a flashing green light, it signifies that the person in the car is in the process of responding to a call for emergency medical assistance. The light is used as a courtesy light; it asks other vehicles to yield the right-of-way.

Please keep in mind that although the green light does not require you to pull to the side of the road, the ambulance corps member could be responding to a life and death emergency involving one of your loved ones.
